Unexplained silence...
Feels like a tornado which has carried a lot of pain And yet last night was angelic One moment we are lying on a cloud on intense pleasure The next we are caught up in the whirlwind of moving on, And taking a stock of what went wrong, I often slip into endless reveries, Thinking i will never be the best woman for you Cooking up those happily ever after stories, Even as emptiness engulfs me, I hope to catch you in my dreams. But when we finally met,we hardly spoke, And I get close to losing my sanity. It is not you, it is not me, Neither is it the increasing anxiety, It is just the awkward silences between you and me, That feeds the flames of insecurities within me, And keeps me from uttering those three words I so want to speak.
