Whispers in the Corner

Beneath the hum of coffee's tune, We meet at the stroke of afternoon. Unspoken vows linger in the air, But hearts find solace in secrets shared. The world outside—its judgment bold, Yet here we’re warm, though stories unfold. A rhythm of love, so tender, so wrong, Dancing to fate’s forbidden song. Eyes meet, hands brush, a fleeting touch, A dangerous game, too close, too much. Yet in this space, we are whole, Two hearts entwined, one stolen soul.

Fluent in you

I spoke the language of longing, Whispered in tones the wind carried away. Built bridges of silence, unsure of their end, Hoping one day you’d find my way. And now, here you stand, Fluent in the rhythm of my heart. Not just a shadow of what I’d imagined, But a presence, whole and vast. Your touch is no longer a question, Your words no longer a maze. For you speak in a voice I understand, Clear as sunlight through the haze. No more deciphering the shadows, No more guessing the weight of your care. At last, love comes as it should— Unfolding, honest, and bare. So this is what it feels like, When hearts beat in harmony’s thread: To love, and finally, To be loved in return instead.

A fragile flame

I adore you in the quiet glow, A warmth my heart has come to know. Your laughter dances in my chest, A melody that won't find rest. Yet fear, a shadow, grips my mind, What if we falter, fall behind? The weight of love, a tender ache, A leap I'm trembling to take. For in your gaze, the world feels bright, But doubt creeps in to steal the light. So here I stand, a step away, In love, yet scared to let it stay.
