Threads unraveled through my fingers, Veil of sadness and darkness lingered, A few sweet moments drop from sunny skies, So many corrupt and mischievous lies, All stole my younger years. In the fertile valleys, the mountains rose haughtily, On the moist earth, insects create their own space daringly, They are small and insignificant, like the way I used to feel, Then love gave me a worthwhile chance, Birds flew from the trees with glee, His word released my inner desires, I felt so free, Uplifting a wealth of undernourished emotions, Building a maze to find my way out, As I was in a constant daze, My heart knows the right direction to its center, Life catching me and giving me the gift of friends, Learning from wise minds and creative spirits, Wandering in a world, where there is no cherry on top, Cruel intentions, were cutting themselves a slice of my cake, Then I became the cook and baked my own creation, The result, a better me, was the true revelation, Threads of ...
