Fragments of Us
We had plans, unspoken, yet clear,
Moments to cherish, year by year.
Laughter to share, paths to explore,
But time, unkind, closed the door.
Your smile held dreams we’d yet to chase,
A fleeting glimpse, a fragile space.
Our hands once clasped, now drift apart,
A quiet ache fills my heart.
The world we built, though incomplete,
Was ours alone, a bittersweet feat.
Now memories linger, soft and true,
Of all we’d dreamed but couldn’t do.
