I stayed because silence scared me,
Loneliness too loud to bear,
I clung to hope, though faint and fleeting,
That love might still be waiting there.
I stayed and lost myself in shadows,
A ghost of who I used to be,
Till I found truth in quiet spaces—
Letting go could set me free.
